Essay on winter vacation
Although winter is my least favorite season, I have to admit that there are some things I enjoy about it. For one, I love the holidays.
Christmas is my favorite time of year, and I love spending time with my family and friends, decorating the tree, baking cookies, and all of the other traditions that come along with it.
I also enjoy the winter weather, as long as I’m bundled up in a warm coat, scarf, and gloves. I love the way the snow sparkles in the sunlight and how quiet everything seems when it’s blanketed in snow.
But even though there are some things I like about winter, I still don’t think it’s my favorite season.
I’m definitely more of a summer person. I love the warm weather, being able to go swimming, and spending time outdoors.
And I really don’t like being cold! So even though there are some things I do enjoy about winter, I’m still glad when it’s over and spring arrives.

How i spent my winter vacation essay 200 words
Winter break is a great time to relax and spend time with family and friends. It’s also a great time to travel and explore new places. I spent my winter vacation by visiting my grandparents. I go to my grandmother’s every winter vacation.
My grandmother takes great care of me. Everyday I get to eat chocolate. It was so much fun! I loved playing in the snow with my cousins, and we had a blast sledding down the hill in their backyard.
We also built a giant snowman together, and I got to help my grandma make her famous chili. Yum! I’m already looking forward to next year’s winter vacation!
It was great to see them and spend time with them, and we even got to go to the beach a few times. We head to the mountains for some skiing or snowboarding
I also did a lot of reading and relaxing, which was much needed after a busy year. Overall, it was a great vacation and I’m already looking forward to next year.
You can get the most out of your winter break by following these suggestions:
- Plan ahead – start thinking about where you want to go and what you want to do well in advance of your trip.
- Make sure you have all the necessary gear – whether you’re planning on hitting the slopes or just taking a leisurely stroll through the snow, make sure you have everything you need to stay warm and dry.
- Pack light – it’s tempting to overpack when you’re going on a trip, but try to resist the urge. You’ll be glad you did when you’re lugging around your suitcase or backpack.
- Don’t forget your camera – winter can be a beautiful time of year, so make sure you capture some memories (just don’t forget the batteries!).
- Be prepared for weather changes – one of the downsides of winter weather is that it can be unpredictable. So pack plenty of layers and be prepared for whatever Mother Nature might throw your way.
- Have fun!
